The Song Of Aviol Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD BEBE FBFB BEBE EBEB

Past the flown horizon's wallA
And the fight of any windB
Where the sunken sunsets fallA
Lies the land that Love would findB
-
There among the magic palmsC
They that flee the mists of sorrowD
Watch their woe on wing d balmsC
Borne and lost ere any morrowD
-
There in vales of deathless loteB
Love is made the Dream EternalE
One with all the myrrhs that floatB
'Neath the halted sun hesternalE
-
Land that kings may not discoverF
Deep within the mystic westB
Only lover comes with loverF
Through the fens where dragons nestB
-
They that seek it summer heartedB
Must outwing the winter swallowE
Fu too far in realms unchartedB
For the jealous gods to followE
-
Past the flown horizon's wallE
And the flight of any windB
Where the sunken sunsets fallE
Lies the land that Love would findB
