The Orchid Of Beauty Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAACBA DEDDED

Beauty thou orchid of immortal bloomA
Sprung from the fire and dust of perished spheresB
How art thou tall in these autumnal yearsB
With the red rain of immemorial doomA
And fragrant where the lesser suns illumeA
For sustenance of Life's forgotten tearsC
Ever thy splendor and thy light appearsB
Like dawn from out the midnight of the tombA
-
Colors and glints and glamors unrecalledD
Richly thy petals intricate reviveE
Blossom whose roots are in eternityD
The faithful soul the sentience darkly thralledD
In dream and wonder evermore shall striveE
At Edens lost of time and memoryD
