The Last Oblivion Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBA CDDC EFG FHG

Not while the woods are redolent with springA
Or scentless immortelles of autumn blowB
Shall I evade your loveliness or knowB
Surcease of love and love's rememberingA
-
But haply wandering worlds and cycles henceC
Through unforeseen fantastic avatarsD
I shall forget you in the future starsD
And take of time an alien recompenseC
-
Till in some strange and latter planet wroughtE
From molten shards and meteor dust of thisF
My hand shall pluck an unsuspected bloomG
-
That lifts again the scarlet of your kissF
And I shall muse and loiter knowing notH
The love that perished like a lost perfumeG
