The Fanes Of Dawn Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBA CDEFDE

In opal mist involved and silver snowsA
The mountains front the slow unfolding mornB
While half the west lies darkling and forlornB
The last star flees unheeded as it roseA
Now what ethereal molten colour flowsA
Along the stone of summits dim and wornB
This amethystine winged fire upborneB
Of gems consummed from what cloud furnace glowsA
-
Above the mountains twice sublime with fireC
In lands of light of colour and of airD
What walls and tow's whose wonder shall not lastE
Are builded where the cloudy fanes aspireF
That house the visioned morning's purple flareD
And with it melt upon the crystal vastE
