Mordant at pillars rotten through and through | F |
Of Matter's last most firm abiding place | B |

Bastion and minaret began to nod | E |
Till all the pile unmindful of His rod | E |
Dissolved in thunder and the void Abyss | B |
Caught like a quicksand at the feet of God | E |
