Temporality Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBA CDDC EFFE

Minutes and hours and days and months and yearsA
As life blood flowing from a lethal woundB
Let knee to knee and breast to breast be boundB
And still awhile the trembling of our fearsA
-
Ah deep in love's oblivion withdrawnC
As in some far and faery place to dwellD
Nor hear the sinister metallic knellD
Of pendulums at moonset or at dawnC
-
Though time runs on and star nor sun may stayE
Your beauty is the maze of my delightF
Where I can lose the minutes in their flightF
And know not when today is yesterdayE
