Sonnet For The Psychoanalysts Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBACDDEFE

When sleep dissolved that super Freudian dreamA
where featherless harpies mated while they fedB
I could not find my body but a threadB
of blood on fabled stairs through mist and steamA
led to a hall of legend There in the gleamA
of Kubla's lamps my table seated headB
in gem bright goblets lazuline and redB
saw essences Falernian fall and creamA
self poured with cans of seething beer BeyondC
in balconies that craned on vacant skiesD
one booted leg went striding sentry wiseD
It was my own It guarded with strict careE
my heart a sanguine ice girt diamondF
imprisoned in some crystal frigidaireE
