Somnus Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCBDBEFGHIJKL

A FragmentA
-
The bottom lands of Lethe and of NightB
Beyond the fiery troubling of the starsC
The peaceful heavens hold in plenitudeB
A gloom that lies like drift of purple downD
On lids oblivious having but for lightB
The glimmer as of some lost afterglowE
Which irretrievable of any sunF
Seems evermore to falter and to gropeG
'Mid forms and shades elusive Like a sceneH
To one entranced with dark mandragoraI
And dimmer than mirages of the moonJ
Lies all the drowsy land lapsing awayK
With Lethe to the sleep of nadir plainsL
