September Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBAA CCDDCC EEFFEE DDAADD

Slumberously burns the sunA
Over slopes adust and dunA
Leaning southward through SeptemberB
I forget and I rememberB
Life is half oblivionA
Somnolently burns the sunA
-
Close and dim the horizons creepC
Earthward lapse the heavens in sleepC
Woodlands faint with azure airD
Seem but bourns of OtherwhereD
Swooning with ensorcelled sleepC
Close and dim the horizons creepC
-
Embers from a dreamland hearthE
Glow the leaves in croft and garthE
Vines within the willows drawnF
Relume the gold of visions goneF
Darkly burn in croft and garthE
Embers from a dreamland hearthE
-
Sleepy like an airless fireD
Smoulders my supreme desireD
Throeless in the tranquil sunA
Hearts could melt and merge as oneA
In forgetful soft desireD
Drowsy like an airless fireD
