Palms Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBA CDDC

Palms in the sunset of a languid summer landA
Sculpture of living green on dreamy scarlet lightB
Dividing as a wall the twilight from the nightB
How magically still and luminous they standA
-
Inclining fretted leaves above some red lagoonC
Careless alike in mystic and immense reposeD
Of the flamingo colored flying sun that goesD
Or the slow coming of the lion colored moonC
