Nirvana Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBAACDACD

Poised as a god whose lone detach d postA
A eyrie pends between the boundary marksB
Of finite years and those unvaried darksB
That veil Eternity I saw the hostA
Of suns and worlds swept from the furthermostA
Of night confusion as of dust with sparksB
Whirl toward the opposing brink as one who harksB
Some warning trumpet Time a withered ghostA
Fled with them disunited orbs that lateA
Were atoms of the universal frameC
They passed to some eternal fragment heapD
And lo the gods from space discorporateA
Who were its life and vital spirit cameC
Drawn voidward by the vampire lips of SleepD
