Nada Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD EFEFGG

This wakeful death affords not any riftA
where root of weed or blossom cleaves the tombB
Ungrown as yet no yewen bowers liftA
bringing serene misericordal gloomB
upon this sepulture adjust and bareC
writ with a legend plain to one aloneD
whose voice could quicken the unvital airC
recalling Lazarus from his room of stoneD
-
Oblivion's river flows in other landsE
than this where memory feeds a mordant springF
the walking dead beseech with parching handsE
the cool far shadow of the raven's wingF
and leaning from the mouldered bed of lustG
love's skeleton writes Nada in the dustG
