In Lemuria Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBACBBC BDEEBD

Rememberest thou Enormous gongs of stoneA
Were stricken and the storming trumpeteersB
Acclaimed my deed to answering tides of spearsB
And spoke the names of monsters overthrownA
Griffins whose angry gold and fervid storeC
Of sapphires wrenched from mountain plung d minesB
Carnelians opals agates almandinesB
I brought to thee some scarlet eve of yoreC
-
In the wide fane that shrined thee Venus wiseB
The fallen clamors died I heard the tuneD
Of tiny bells of pearl and melaniteE
Hung at thy knees and arms of dreamt delightE
And placed my wealth before thy fabled eyesB
Pallid and pure as jaspers from the moonD
