Estrangement Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBA CDDE FGGF HIIH

I have forgot who once had partA
In autumn and in autumn's griefB
Still the red year illumes the leafB
But not the silence of my heartA
-
When poplars take the passing fireC
And fling it on the windy skiesD
I listen hushed with lone surmiseD
In hope to hear a vanished lyreE
-
Bravely on some autumnal morrowF
The topmost leaf shall flame and dieG
But in my heart an alien sighG
Wakes only with an alien sorrowF
-
In vain the falling leaves caressH
A lute among the roses lostI
And the frail touch of petals tossedI
Will leave it mute and tremorlessH
