Echo Of Memnon Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBA CDDC EDDE BDDB

I wandered ere the dream was doneA
Where over Nilus' nenupharsB
With all its ears of quivering starsB
The darkness listened for the sunA
-
Ere shadows were ere night was goneC
I found the one whom suns had soughtD
And waiting at his feet methoughtD
Had speech with Memnon in the dawnC
-
Sad as the last lamenting starE
He sang and clear as morning's goldD
Unto his voice I saw unfoldD
The hesitant pale nenupharE
-
But dolorous like the peal of doomsB
And proclamation of the nightD
The waste returned that voice of lightD
With echo from its hollow tombsB
