Dedication | To Carol Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABA CDDCE

From this my heart a haunted ElsinoreA
I send the phantoms packing for thy sakeB
Sea wind and sin walk now the halls I takeB
Funeral wreath and fanon from my doorA
I banish demons called by mantic loreA
The pentagrams are changed the thirst to slakeB
Naiad and saint unite forevermoreA
-
Here the grey seas have drunk an azure dayC
The goblin shaped miasmas of the nightD
And ghostly dragons of the mist take flightD
Unzoned along a vervain flowered wayC
Behind the fervent footprints of the sunE
