Cambion Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABBA CDCDDC EFEFGE HIHIIH

I am that spawn of witch and demonA
By time's mad prophets long foretoldB
The unnamed fear of king and freemanA
I roam the lawless outland woldB
Couching amid the weeds and mouldB
With dire Alecto for my lemanA
-
I am that hidden piper playingC
The Pan like strains of maleficeD
That lure the lonely traveller strayingC
Upon the crumbling precipiceD
To filmed morass or blind abyssD
His feet must follow never stayingC
-
I am that swart unseen pursuerE
Whose lust begets a changeling breedF
All women know me for their wooerE
Mine is the whisper the maidens heedF
At twilight mine the spells that leadG
The matron to the nighted moorE
-
I am that messenger whose callH
Convenes dark mage and banished lordI
And branded witch and whip flayed thrallH
To plot amid the madness pouredI
On the black Sabbat's frothing hordeI
The bale of realms the planet's fallH
