Bond Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABA BCB CAC ADA DBD BEB E

By the red seal redoubled of that kissA
When thy lips parted softly to my ownB
Ere the sun sank from doomed PoseidonisA
-
By nights of searing ecstasy and moanB
The night wet bosoms in Pompeii baredC
And the pale breasts and limbs in Lesbos knownB
-
By dreams and deities and dolors sharedC
Before the Olympian glory passed from GreeceA
By sharp and secret raptures that we daredC
-
In Druid towers of ocean founded YsA
By every cup of wine in NaishapurD
We drank by turns even to the purple leesA
-
By the dark Sabbats vowed to LuciferD
Making us one before his muffled throneB
In rites of sorceress and sorcererD
-
By the sealed ways no prophet has foreshownB
Wheron our lips shall meet our footsteps goE
By these by these I claim thee for mine ownB
-
Even as I have claimed thee long agoE
