August Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACB CDDEFDE

In silence now the purpling summer passesA
The swallows flyB
The failing river scantly glassesA
Where amber twilights waneC
Our dreaming kiss above the flow'rs that dieB
-
Will love at last remainC
Ever I pray to findD
Though all the heav'ns be blindD
The gold of love and summer in thy hairE
And breathe between thy shadowy breasts againF
In eves of autumn windD
All flowers that failed upon a windless airE
