Atlantis Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAAAAA CAADCD

Above its domes the gulfs accumulateA
Far up the sea gales blare their bitter screedB
But here the buried waters take no heedB
Deaf and with welded lips pressed down by weightA
Of the upper ocean Dim interminateA
In cities over webbed with somber weedA
Where galleons crumble and the krakens breedA
The slow tide coils through sunken court and gateA
-
From out the ocean's phosphor starry domeC
A ghostly light is dubitably shedA
On altars of a goddess garlandedA
With blossoms of some weird and hueless vineD
And wing d fleet through skies beneath the foamC
Like silent birds the sea things dart and shineD
