Artemis Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE GHIH JEKE

In the green and flowerless garden I have dreamtA
Lying beneath perennial moons apartB
Whose cypress builded bowersC
And ivy plighted myrtles none shall partB
-
In the funereal maze of larch and laurelD
Across white lawns athwart the spectral mountainsE
Seen through the sighing hazeF
Of all the high and moon suspended fountainsE
-
With feet enshaded by the fruitless greenG
Of summer trees that bear no summer blossomH
With wintry lusters laidI
Upon the mounded marble of thy bosomH
-
Thou dost await O mournful enigmaticJ
Image of love bewildered ArtemisE
Whose tender lips too lateK
Or all too soon have sought the wounding kissE
