Alternative Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDDDC EEFGGGF

Who turns him from his earthly loveA
Must other lovers meet and proveB
Through plunging lands careened from lightC
Into the crimson starred abyssD
He goes by sunken stairs to kissD
The coal hot lips of BaaltisD
And Lilith in the nether nightC
-
Or else on mountains noonward piledE
He climbs the planished walls beguiledE
By wispy wavering spectres bornF
Of snow and sun till starkly madG
In some delirium strange and gladG
He clasps an ice limbed oreadG
Upon the slippery silver hornF
