A Psalm To The Best Beloved Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGGHIJKGLJMMMNG M

Thou comfortest me with the manna of thy loveA
And the kisses of thy mouth are wine and sustenanceB
They are grateful as fruitC
In lonely orchards by the wayside of a ruinous landD
They are sweet as the purple grapesE
On parching hills that confront the autumnal desertF
Or apples that the mad simoom hath sparedG
In a garden with walls of syeniteG
Thy loosened hair is a veilH
For the weariness of mine eyes and eyelidsI
Which have known the redoubled sunJ
In a desert valley with slopes of the dust of white marbleK
And have gazed on the mounded saltG
In the marshes of a lake of dead watersL
Thy body is a secret EdenJ
Fed with lethean springsM
And the touch of thy flesh is like to the savor of lotosM
In thy hair is a perfume of ecstasyM
And a perfume of sleepN
Between thy thighs is a valley of delightG
And a valley of peaceM
