Taking Title Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCC DDCCEE CCFFCC GH

TO make this little house my very ownA
Could not be done by law aloneA
Though covenant and deed conveyB
Absolute fee as lawyers sayB
There are domestic rites besideC
By which this house is sanctifiedC
-
By kindled fire upon the hearthD
By planted pansies in the garthD
By food and by the quiet restC
Of those brown eyes that I love bestC
And by a friends bright gift of wineE
I dedicate this house of mineE
-
When all but I are soft abedC
I trail about my quiet steadC
A wreath of blue tobacco smokeF
A charm that evil never brokeF
And bring my ritual to an endC
By giving shelter to a friendC
-
This done O dwelling you becomeG
Not just a house but truly HomeH
