| By planted pansies in the garth | D |
| By food and by the quiet rest | C |
| Of those brown eyes that I love best | C |
| And by a friends bright gift of wine | E |
| I dedicate this house of mine | E |

| When all but I are soft abed | C |
| I trail about my quiet stead | C |
| A wreath of blue tobacco smoke | F |
| A charm that evil never broke | F |
| And bring my ritual to an end | C |
| By giving shelter to a friend | C |

| Not just a house but truly Home | H |
