I Said, This Misery Must End Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDECEDFGGHIIHH JHJJ

I SAID This misery must endA
Shall I that am a man and knowB
that sky and wind are yet my friendA
sit huddled under any blowB
so speaking left the dismal roomC
and stept into the mother nightD
all fill d with sacred quickening gloomC
where the few stars burn d low and brightD
and darkling on my darkling hillE
heard thro the beaches sullen boomC
heroic note of living willE
rung trumpet clear against the fightD
so stood and heard and rais d my eyesF
erect that they might drink of spaceG
and took the night upon my faceG
till time and trouble fell awayH
and all my soul sprang up to feelI
as one among the stars that reelI
in rhyme on their rejoicing wayH
breaking the elder dark nor stayH
but speed beyond each trammelling gyreJ
till time and sorrow fall awayH
and night be wither d up and fireJ
consume the sickness of desireJ
