1897 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEFEFGHGHIJIJ DKDKLMLMDNDN

Deep in my hidden country stands a peakA
and none hath known its nameB
and none save I hath even skill to seekA
thence my wild spirit cameB
Thither I turn when the day's garish worldC
too long hath vex'd my sightD
and bare my limbs where the great winds are whirl'dC
and life's undreaded mightD
For there I know the pools of clearest blueE
glad wells of simple soothF
there steep'd in strength of glacier springs renewE
the lucid body of youthF
there I alone may know the joy of questG
and keen delight of coldH
or rest what time the night with naked breastG
and shaken hair of goldH
folds me so close that her great breath would seemI
to fill the darkling heartJ
with solemn certainty of ancient dreamI
or whisperingly to impartJ
aeonian life larger than seas of lightD
more limpid than the dawnK
there when my foot hath touch'd the topmost heightD
the fire from heaven is drawnK
If any murmur that my 'sdainful handL
withholds its sacrificeM
where ranged unto the Law the peoples standL
let this blown word sufficeM
The gift of self is self's most sacred rightD
only where none hath trodN
only upon my secret starry heightD
I abdicate to GodN
