Twice Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDBDC AEAFGEGF HIHJKIKJ ALAMALAM NONPQOQP ARASTUTS

I took my heart in my handA
O my love O my loveB
I said Let me fall or standA
Let me live or dieC
But this once hear me speakD
O my love O my loveB
Yet a woman's words are weakD
You should speak not IC
-
You took my heart in your handA
With a friendly smileE
With a critical eye you scannedA
Then set it downF
And said It is still unripeG
Better wait awhileE
Wait while the skylarks pipeG
Till the corn grows brownF
-
As you set it down it brokeH
Broke but I did not winceI
I smiled at the speech you spokeH
At your judgment that I heardJ
But I have not often smiledK
Since then nor questioned sinceI
Nor cared for corn flowers wildK
Nor sung with the singing birdJ
-
I take my heart in my handA
O my God O my GodL
My broken heart in my handA
Thou hast seen judge ThouM
My hope was written on sandA
O my God O my GodL
Now let Thy judgment standA
Yea judge me nowM
-
This contemned of a manN
This marred one heedless dayO
This heart take Thou to scanN
Both within and withoutP
Refine with fire its goldQ
Purge Thou its dross awayO
Yea hold it in Thy holdQ
Whence none can pluck it outP
-
I take my heart in my handA
I shall not die but liveR
Before Thy face I standA
I for Thou callest suchS
All that I have I bringT
All that I am I giveU
Smile Thou and I shall singT
But shall not question muchS
