Touching 'never' Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBCDEDDED

Because you never yet have loved me dearA
Think you you never can nor ever willB
Surely while life remains hope lingers stillB
Hope the last blossom of life's dying yearA
Because the season and mine age grow sereA
Shall never Spring bring forth her daffodilB
Shall never sweeter Summer feast her fillB
Of roses with the nightingales they hearC
If you had loved me I not loving youD
If you had urged me with the tender pleaE
Of what our unknown years to come might doD
Eternal years if Time should count too fewD
I would have owned the point you pressed on meE
Was possible or probable or trueD
