To-day's Burden Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBACDECED

Arise depart for this is not your restA
Oh burden of all burdens still to ariseB
And still depart nor rest in any wiseB
Rolling still rolling thus to east from westA
Earth journeys on her immemorial questA
Whom a moon chases in no different guiseB
Thus stars pursue their courses and thus fliesB
The sun and thus all creatures manifestA
Unrest the common heritage the banC
Flung broadcast on all humankind on allD
Who live for living all are bound to dieE
That which is old we know that it is manC
These have no rest who sit and dream and sighE
Nor have those rest who wrestle and who fallD
