The World Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAACBADEDFEF

By day she wooes me soft exceeding fairA
But all night as the moon so changeth sheB
Loathsome and foul with hideous leprosyB
And subtle serpents gliding in her hairA
By day she wooes me to the outer airA
Ripe fruits sweet flowers and full satietyC
But through the night a beast she grins at meB
A very monster void of love and prayerA
By day she stands a lie by night she standsD
In all the naked horror of the truthE
With pushing horns and clawed and clutching handsD
Is this a friend indeed that I should sellF
My soul to her give her my life and youthE
Till my feet cloven too take hold on hellF
