The Rose Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEDE DCFC

The lily has a smooth stalkA
Will never hurt your handB
But the rose upon her brierC
Is lady of the landB
-
There's sweetness in an apple treeD
And profit in the cornE
But lady of all beautyD
Is a rose upon a thornE
-
When with moss and honeyD
She tips her bending brierC
And half unfolds her glowing heartF
She sets the world on fireC
