Our Mothers Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBCCBBCDEFGED

Our Mothers lovely women pitifulA
Our Sisters gracious in their life and deathB
To us each unforgotten memory saithB
Learn as we learned in life's sufficient schoolC
Work as we worked in patience of our ruleC
Walk as we walked much less by sight than faithB
Hope as we hoped despite our slips and scatheB
Fearful in joy and confident in duleC
I know not if they see us or can seeD
But if they see us in our painful dayE
How looking back to earth from ParadiseF
Do tears not gather in those loving eyesG
Ah happy eyes whose tears are wiped awayE
Whether or not you bear to look on meD
