One Day Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDABC EFEFGFGG HIJKLMHM

I will tell you when they metA
In the limpid days of SpringB
Elder boughs were budding yetA
Oaken boughs looked wintry stillC
But primrose and veined violetD
In the mossful turf were setA
While meeting birds made haste to singB
And build with right good willC
-
I will tell you when they partedE
When plenteous Autumn sheaves were brownF
Then they parted heavy heartedE
The full rejoicing sun looked downF
As grand as in the days beforeG
Only they had lost a crownF
Only to them those days of yoreG
Could come back nevermoreG
-
When shall they meet I cannot tellH
Indeed when they shall meet againI
Except some day in ParadiseJ
For this they wait one waits in painK
Beyond the sea of death love liesL
Forever yesterday to dayM
Angels shall ask them Is it wellH
And they shall answer YeaM
