Rhyme Scheme: A BCCBBCCBCDCEDE

I said This is a beautiful fresh roseB
I said I will delight me with its scentC
Will watch its lovely curve of languishmentC
Will watch its leaves unclose its heart uncloseB
I said Old Earth has put away her snowsB
All living things make merry to their bentC
A flower is come for every flower that wentC
In autumn the sun glows the south wind blowsB
So walking in a garden of delightC
I came upon one sheltered shadowed nookD
Where broad leaf shadows veiled the day with nightC
And there lay snow unmelted by the sunE
I answered Take who will the path I tookD
Winter nips once for all love is but oneE
