Gone Forever Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAABA AAAAAA CDCCDC

O happy rose bud bloomingA
Upon thy parent treeB
Nay thou art too presumingA
For soon the earth entombingA
Thy faded charms shall beB
And the chill damp consumingA
-
O happy skylark springingA
Up to the broad blue skyA
Too fearless in thy wingingA
Too gladsome in thy singingA
Thou also soon shalt lieA
Where no sweet notes are ringingA
-
And through life's shine and showerC
We shall have joy and painD
But in the summer bowerC
And at the morning hourC
We still shall look in vainD
For the same bird and flowerC
