By The Sea Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACC DEDFF GHGII

Why does the sea moan evermoreA
Shut out from heaven it makes its moanB
It frets against the boundary shoreA
All earth's full rivers cannot fillC
The sea that drinking thirsteth stillC
-
Sheer miracles of lovelinessD
Lie hid in its unlooked on bedE
Anemones salt passionlessD
Blow flower like just enough aliveF
To blow and multiply and thriveF
-
Snells quaint with curve or spot or spikeG
Encrusted live things argus eyedH
All fair alike yet all unlikeG
Are born without a pang and dieI
Without a pang and so pass byI
