At Home Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGF HIJIKLML NOPOQOKO RSTUVOWO

When I was dead my spirit turnedA
To seek the much frequented houseB
I passed the door and saw my friendsC
Feasting beneath green orange boughsD
From hand to hand they pushed the wineE
They sucked the pulp of plum and peachF
They sang they jested and they laughedG
For each was loved of eachF
-
I listened to their honest chatH
Said one To morrow we shall beI
Plod plod along the featureless sandsJ
And coasting miles and miles of seaI
Said one Before the turn of tideK
We will achieve the eyrie seatL
Said one To morrow shall be likeM
To day but much more sweetL
-
To morrow said they strong with hopeN
And dwelt upon the pleasant wayO
To morrow cried they one and allP
While no one spoke of yesterdayO
Their life stood full at blessed noonQ
I only I had passed awayO
To morrow and to day they criedK
I was of yesterdayO
-
I shivered comfortless but castR
No chill across the table clothS
I all forgotten shivered sadT
To stay and yet to part how lothU
I passed from the familiar roomV
I who from love had passed awayO
Like the remembrance of a guestW
That tarrieth but a dayO
