An Echo From Willowwood Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AA ABBAABBACDDCDC

O ye all ye that walk in WillowwoodA
D G RossettiA
-
Two gazed into a pool he gazed and sheA
Not hand in hand yet heart in heart I thinkB
Pale and reluctant on the water's brinkB
As on the brink of parting which must beA
Each eyed the other's aspect she and heA
Each felt one hungering heart leap up and sinkB
Each tasted bitterness which both must drinkB
There on the brink of life's dividing seaA
Lilies upon the surface deep belowC
Two wistful faces craving each for eachD
Resolute and reluctant without speechD
A sudden ripple made the faces flowC
One moment joined to vanish out of reachD
So those hearts joined and ah were parted soC
