A Wintry Sonnet Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDCDCEFFGEG

A Robin said The Spring will never comeA
And I shall never care to build againB
A Rosebush said These frosts are wearisomeA
My sap will never stir for sun or rainC
The half Moon said These nights are fogged and slowD
I neither care to wax nor care to waneC
The Ocean said I thirst from long agoD
Because earth's rivers cannot fill the mainC
When Springtime came red Robin built a nestE
And trilled a lover's song in sheer delightF
Grey hoarfrost vanished and the Rose with mightF
Clothed her in leaves and buds of crimson coreG
The dim Moon brightened Ocean sunned his crestE
Dimpled his blue yet thirsted evermoreG
