A Bird Song Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAA BBC BBA

It's a year almost that I have not seen herA
Oh last summer green things were greenerA
Brambles fewer the blue sky bluerA
-
It's surely summer for there's a swallowB
Come one swallow his mate will followB
The bird race quicken and wheel and thickenC
-
Oh happy swallow whose mate will followB
O'er height o'er hollow I'd be a swallowB
To build this weather one nest togetherA
