Jesus do I love TheeB
Thou art far above meB
Seated out of sightC
Hid in Heavenly LightC
Of most highest heightC
Martyred hosts implore TheeB
Seraphs fall before TheeB
Angels and ArchangelsD
Cherub throngs adore TheeB
Blessed She that bore TheeB
All the Saints approve TheeB
All the Virgins love TheeB
I show as a blotE
Blood hath cleansed notE
As a barren spotE
In Thy fruitful lotE
I fig tree fruit unbearingF
Thou righteous Judge unsparingF
What canst Thou do more to meB
That shall not more undo meB
Thy Justice hath a soundG
Why cumbereth it the groundG
Thy Love with stirrings strongerH
Pleads Give it one year longerH
Thou giv'st me time but whoI
Save Thou shall give me dewI
Shall feed my root with BloodJ
And stir my sap for goodK
Oh by Thy Gifts that shame meB
Give more lest they condemn meB
Good Lord I ask much of TheeB
But most I ask to love TheeB
Kind Lord be mindful of meB
Love me and make me love TheeB
