From Sunset To Star Rise Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBA CDCEDE

Go from me summer friends and tarry notA
I am no summer friend but wintry coldB
A silly sheep benighted from the foldB
A sluggard with a thorn choked garden plotA
Take counsel sever from my lot your lotA
Dwell in your pleasant places hoard your goldB
Lest you with me should shiver on the woldB
Athirst and hungering on a barren spotA
-
For I have hedged me with a thorny hedgeC
I live alone I look to die aloneD
Yet sometimes when a wind sighs through the sedgeC
Ghosts of my buried years and friends come backE
My heart goes sighing after swallows flownD
On sometime summer's unreturning trackE
