Amen Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBB DEDEE FBFBBBG

It is over What is overA
Nay now much is over trulyB
Harvest days we toiled to sow forC
Now the sheaves are gathered newlyB
Now the wheat is garnered dulyB
-
It is finished What is finishedD
Much is finished known or unknownE
Lives are finished time diminishedD
Was the fallow field left unsownE
Will these buds be always unblownE
-
It suffices What sufficesF
All suffices reckoned rightlyB
Spring shall bloom where now the ice isF
Roses make the bramble sightlyB
And the quickening sun shine brightlyB
And the latter wind blow lightlyB
And my garden teem with spicesG
