A Better Resurrection Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEDE DFDFGEGE HIHIGEGE

I have no wit no words no tearsA
My heart within me like a stoneB
Is numbed too much for hopes or fearsC
Look right look left I dwell aloneB
I lift mine eyes but dimmed with griefD
No everlasting hills I seeE
My life is in the falling leafD
O Jesus quicken meE
-
My life is like a faded leafD
My harvest dwindled to a huskF
Truly my life is void and briefD
And tedious in the barren duskF
My life is like a frozen thingG
No bud nor greenness can I seeE
Yet rise it shall the sap of SpringG
O Jesus rise in meE
-
My life is like a broken bowlH
A broken bowl that cannot holdI
One drop of water for my soulH
Or cordial in the searching coldI
Cast in the fire the perished thingG
Melt and remould it till it beE
A royal cup for Him my KingG
O Jesus drink of meE
