There will come a dayA
When I feel lostB
AstrayA
In disarrayA
-
The white dress pooling around me as i walk downC
AloneD
No father beside meE
Lost in everything I ve ever knownD
Because you re goneF
And you won t come backG
-
You re not deadH
No-
Not exactlyE
Not legallyE
MedicallyE
CertainlyE
-
Just dead to meE
Not that it s something that you seeE
I ve given upI
I don t want to meet you halfwayA
I don t care that the phone works both waysJ
Or any of those other ridiculous things that you sayA
-
I m told you re supposed to know meE
For all I am and what makes it such a wayA
How I take my teaE
Perhaps my coffeeE
Favorite foodsK
What makes me sickL
Favorite candiesM
What makes me tickL
Favorite chipsN
-
But damn it allO
You make me sickL
And you know itP
You know that seeing you twists my gutsQ
And all that I want is for this door to shutR
I want you goneF
-
If I had it my way I d never see you againS
and I d never careT
-
Damn it all this isn t fairT
I want to tell people I love my dadU
All he s done for meE
Why can t you just use your eyesV
SeeE
See me for all I am and all I ve done and not what I wasn t able to do for youW
-
I don t want to label you as cruelX
You never hit meE
You hurt meE
Deceived meE
Left me behind for every new girlfriend that came alongY
Lied to meE
-
But when I needed youW
You never fought for meE
Never showed meE
That there was even a possibility of you loving meE
