Not For That City Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAACCADEEDFF

Not for that city of the level sunA
Its golden streets and glittering gates ablazeB
The shadeless sleepless city of white daysB
White nights or nights and days that are as oneA
We weary when all is said all thought all doneA
We strain our eyes beyond this dusk to seeC
What from the threshold of eternityC
We shall step into No I think we shunA
The splendour of that everlasting glareD
The clamour of that never ending songE
And if for anything we greatly longE
It is for some remote and quiet stairD
Which winds to silence and a space for sleepF
Too sound for waking and for dreams too deepF
