Rhyme Scheme: AABB CDEF GHAA IIJK LLEF MHNN OOPQ AAFF RSTT

Jesus from whom all blessings flowA
Great builder of thy church belowA
If now thy Spirit moves my breastB
Hear and fulfil thine own requestB
-
The few that truly call thee LordC
And wait thy sanctifying wordD
And thee their utmost Saviour ownE
Unite and perfect them in oneF
-
O let them all thy mind expressG
Stand forth thy chosen witnessesH
Thy power unto salvation showA
And perfect holiness belowA
-
In them let all mankind beholdI
How Christians lived in days of oldI
Mighty their envious foes to moveJ
A proverb of reproach and loveK
-
From every sinful wrinkle freeL
Redeemed from all iniquityL
The fellowship of saints make knownE
And O my God might I be oneF
-
O might my lot be cast with theseM
The least of Jesu's witnessesH
O that my Lord would count me meetN
To wash his dear disciples' feetN
-
This only thing do I requireO
Thou knowest 'tis all my heart's desireO
Freely what I receive to giveP
The servant of thy church to liveQ
-
After my lowly Lord to goA
And wait upon thy saints belowA
Enjoy the grace to angels givenF
And serve the royal heirs of heavenF
-
Lord if I now thy drawings feelR
And ask according to thy willS
Confirm the prayer the seal impartT
And speak the answer to my heartT
