The Snow Man Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAACCADEDEDE

Poor shape grotesque that careless hands have wroughtA
Frail wistful thing left gaping at the sunB
With empty grin 'tis well no blood shall runB
Within thy frozen veins no kindling thoughtA
Light up those eyeless sockets wherein naughtA
But hate could dwell if once they flashed the fireC
Of being or the doom gift of DesireC
Should curse thy life unbidden and unsoughtA
Poor snow man with thy tattered hat awryD
And broomstick musket toppling from thy handsE
'Tis well thou hast no language to decryD
Thy poor creator or his vain commandsE
No tear to shed that thou so soon must dieD
No voice to lift in prayer where no god understandsE
