A Mother To The Sea Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE GCAC

You are blue you are blue like the skyA
Cruel and cold and blueB
And I turn from you voiceless seaC
To a sky that is voiceless tooB
-
Upward the vast blue archD
Downward the blue abyssE
With a line of foam where your lipsF
Meet in a passionless kissE
-
But the silence is breaking my heartG
And tears cannot comfort meC
With God in His cold blue skyA
And my boy in the cold blue seaC
