Safaniyah Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAAA BCAA DDEE FFAG HHIJ

We started as choirmates then became bestfriends foreverA
Singing songs that only us can sing and no one can make it betterA
Sharing same thoughts jokes memories that filled with laughterA
It came to a point that people see us as dumb and dumbererA
-
We became lovers and you are my clock that gives tick tocks in my heartB
But you said it's like a fart If you have to force it It's probably a crapC
We laugh like there's no tomorrow years of happiness with no room for sorrowA
But fate gave us something that is hard to swallowA
-
The storm is fast approaching and we don't know when it will endD
And your eyes are just staring and you can't hide and pretendD
But we smile like there's nothing is wrong believing we can still go onE
But my star is slowly dying like our favorite scene in saigonE
-
You said that it is really nothing but your eyes is tired pretendingF
And I see you struggling coz you're not good at lyingF
I can't just ignore those silence that i hearA
It's so loud and excruciating and i thought that it's not realG
-
Tears began slowly flowing as i lay you down on your deathbedH
While my lips is busy singing i m screaming your name inside my headH
Your body looks drawn dead tired but your heart remains sereneI
You have fought a good fight that no one can imagineJ
